Proof must be supplied that the Carrier equipment has been properly maintained over the life of the warranty, i.e. a minimum of once-a-year maintenance.
Amana is not responsible for damage or repairs required as a result of any improper use, maintenance, operation or servicing.

PROCEDURES of the Precision Tune-Up (PTU ) Include:
- Clean and adjust burner assembly
- Clean ignition assembly
- Clean & adjust pilot operation
- Inspect/clean heat exchanger or elements if accessible
- Inspect heat exchanger for cracks
- Monitor refrigerant pressure
- Test starting capabilities and equipment operation
- Test & adjust safety controls
- Clean washable air filters or replace with standard 1" pleated air filters
- Inspect & adjust blower components
- Measure for correct air flow (make necessary corrections)
- Measure temperature difference
- Check & tighten all electrical connections
- Measure & monitor all voltage and amperage draws
- Lubricate all moving parts
- Test & adjust the heating anticipator
- Calibrate the thermostat and check operation
- Clean/inspect the evaporator coil if accessible
- Clean primary and secondary drain pans
- Clean (clear) condensate drain lines
- Clean condenser coil & Cabinet
