PROCEDURES of the Precision Tune-Up (PTU ) Include:
  • Clean and adjust burner assembly
  • Clean ignition assembly
  • Clean & adjust pilot operation
  • Inspect/clean heat exchanger or elements if accessible
  • Inspect heat exchanger for cracks
  • Monitor refrigerant pressure
  • Test starting capabilities and equipment operation
  • Test & adjust safety controls
  • Clean washable air filters or replace with standard 1" pleated air filters
  • Inspect & adjust blower components
  • Measure for correct air flow (make necessary corrections)
  • Measure temperature difference
  • Check & tighten all electrical connections
